The Gallo family's commitment to the world of vines and wine began over a century ago and has manifested itself over time through the work and dedication of people such as Basilio, Stelio, Gianfranco and their families.

Since 1978 the company has been led by Gianfranco who, through rigorous and bold viticultural choices, combined with a careful oenological interpretation, has established a qualitative style of great personality, which has distinguished the Vie di Romans company over the last twenty years.

Important stages of this last historical journey were: in 1978 the first bottling and first commercial label, 1982 the beginning of a cycle of viticultural modernization aimed at high quality, 1989 the creation of the new cellar built on three floors, 1990 vinification of the grapes distinguished for cru of origin, 1992 the commercial release of the '90 vintage and from this date onwards the white wines will always be marketed two years after the harvest.

All this has contributed to making Vie di Romans one of the protagonists of the Italian wine scene, with historic labels that have become reference models throughout the world.
