Description
The Friuli Isonzo Bianco DOC Flors di Uis wine represents one of the most prestigious labels signed by the Vie di Romans winery. Its exclusive character is the result of the blend of refined vines, carefully bred by the Gallo family in the Mariano del Friuli area of Gorizia, on the border with Slovenia. In this area, winds and sandy-loamy soils rich in aluminum and iron oxide meet the influences of the Adriatic Sea and the Isonzo River, creating the ideal context for the correct ripening of the bunches of grapes. The Friuli Isonzo Bianco DOC Flors by Uis marries Malvasia Istriana, Friulano and Riesling Renano grapes, rigorously coming from different vineyards, and becomes a blend marked by an excellent organoleptic profile and intriguing aromatic nuances. The wine is a dry white, structured and with an important aging potential, which ages in the bottle for 10 months before being ready to bring the authentic and intense taste of the renowned Friulian terroir into the glass. Floral, citrus and exotic fruit notes mix with intense and spicy traces in an elegant and balanced, aromatic and enveloping taste. It is a soft, almost creamy wine, which gives very pleasant sensations in the mouth; thanks to its structure, it also goes well with Asian cuisine, full of flavors and spices.
