Description
Pluminus Isola dei Nuraghi IGT is a white wine with an important structure, produced by the Sardinian winery Ferruccio Deiana . It is the result of a blend that includes two native white grape varieties, namely Vermentino and Nasco. The two varieties are grown on plots characterized by sandy and stony soils. Thanks to the typical Mediterranean climate and sun exposure, the vines can develop luxuriantly until the harvest. At the turn of the months of August and September, the manual harvest is expected with selection of the bunches. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels at a strictly monitored temperature. The subsequent refinement involves an initial rest of about 6 months in oak barriques. After bottling, the wine seals its scents in glass for another 4 months. Pluminus Isola dei Nuraghi IGT can be appreciated with pleasure right away, as well as following a further evolution of 3-4 years.
