Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon
Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
In the heart of the Langhe area, in the municipality of Agliano Terme, Nizza Ponticelli DOCG is produced at the Coppo winery, one of the oldest and most flourishing Italian wineries, where tradition and modern technologies are used to produce only bottles of great prestige and quality . The grapes come from the Barbera vine, a classic cultivation in this area, characterized by clayey, silty and marly soil. The predominantly temperate and cold climatic profile also contributes to the excellence, appreciable in every glass. The grape harvest takes place in September through the selection of the best fruits, rigorously by hand. The vinification takes place with fermentation and subsequent maceration with the skins, the wine ages for 14 months in French oak barriques and completes the refinement process in the bottles. Nizza Ponticelli DOCG is a complex, intense and well-structured wine that is perfect to drink immediately, but can evolve if it rests in the cellar for a few years.
