'Primofiore' Veneto IGT Quintarelli 2020

Primofiore Veneto IGT is a red wine with intense aromas, made by the iconic Veronese winery Quintarelli . It is the fruit of a balanced blend that includes the local Corvina and Corvinone vines and the international Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The varieties are present in equal parts and cultivated with great care in the heart of Valpolicella. The plots are located near Valgatara and Sant'Ambrogio a Montorio. Here the vines sink their roots into calcareous soils and grow luxuriantly until the harvest, with rigorous manual selection of the healthiest and ripest bunches. In the cellar the grapes dry for about a month before being left to ferment according to the Bordeaux tradition. For refinement, the company favors the use of large Slavonian oak barrels, where the wine rests for about a year before bottling. Perfect from the start, Primofiore Veneto IGT is a red with considerable potential for evolution over a few years.
