Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Rio Sordo Barbaresco DOCG Riserva is a fine red wine, made by the Produttori del Barbaresco winery. This label is the result of the pure vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, the native variety par excellence of the Langhe. On the south-facing vineyards, which rise about 300 meters above sea level, the vines enjoy ideal conditions for producing grapes of great finesse. When they reach full maturity, the best bunches are harvested by hand. The vinification begins with the alcoholic fermentation, which takes place in contact with the skins, in large vats. For the refinement, the company chooses precious oak barrels, where the wine remains for at least three years. After bottling, the wine is aged for another six months before being put on the market. Rio Sordo Barbaresco DOCG Riserva is a red designed for long evolutions, capable of pleasantly surprising after ten years of rest in the cellar.
