It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

When Nature raises its voice you must respect the role and stick to ethics, every producer has one. In difficult years, when the climatic trend prostrates the vine with drought or torrential rains, the instinct of the most exasperated creativity is triggered, accepting the basis that Nature wanted to give. This is how the "della Bora" wines are born, special labels, faithful testimonies of a demanding year with yields of around 10 - 20 quintals per hectare (therefore very low), which express unrepeatable suggestions and nuances. In this case, we have an almost unknown autochthonous vine such as Teran with an average age of the vines of about 20 years. It is the most expressive red wine of the Carso for its rusticity that well represents a harsh and tormented territory, with unique climatic (bora wind) and geological features: the Carso, in fact. It shows an intense, brilliant ruby red color, the nose expresses clear aromas of black forest fruits (blueberry, currant, blackberry), undergrowth and plum with light vegetal hints, the first sensation in the mouth is an explosion of acidity typical of the wine, followed by a pleasant sapidity and ferrous tactile hints, a vertical, didactic, drinkable, rough, a little grumpy wine. Like the territory it comes from.
