Sauvignon Vineyards of the Dolomites IGP Hofstatter 2022

The Michei Sauvignon Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Hofstatter is a white wine produced in high mountain vineyards. It comes from the Hofstatter winery, a family-run South Tyrolean company, and more precisely from Maso Michei and its 8 hectares of land cultivated with Sauvignon grapes. Here, in these mountain plots, at an altitude of 850 metres, the cultivation of vines is difficult and requires great knowledge and patience. The land is clayey, rich in limestone and sand and exposed to the south, ideal characteristics for the growth of the Sauvignon vines. The ripening of the grapes is slow and gradual. During vinification, the skins remain in contact with the must for a few hours and are then separated from the sediments with a natural process. The Michei Sauvignon Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Hofstatter is a classic white Sauvignon table wine, fruity and slightly aromatic. Perfect to accompany a lunch or dinner with friends.
