Sylvaner AA Valle Isarco DOC Strasserhof 2021

The Sylvaner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC is a fragrant white wine made by the Dolomites winery Strasserhof . It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Sylvaner grapes, a variety originating in Germany which has found the ideal environment to spread on local soils. The plots are located at 650 meters above sea level in the Novacella area. Once fully ripe, the bunches are carefully selected during the manual harvest. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed and subjected to alcoholic fermentation in large steel tanks with careful monitoring of the temperature. The refinement continues for 70% of the lots in steel, while the remaining 30% rests in large oak barrels. When 7 months have passed, the wine is blended and bottled. Sylvaner Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC can be appreciated immediately, as well as after a further short evolution.
