'Terre della Baronia' White Sicily DOP Milazzo 2022

Terre di Baronia is a white characterized by varietal aromas and unique scents, the grapes carefully selected by Milazzo reflect the unique terroir of the Garcinella area where this selection of Catarratto Lucido is grown. Here the vines give life to bunches that give aromas of ripe tropical fruit rich in nuances, with greater verticality and an evident acidic backbone. In order to enhance the thiol-tropical expression of the Catarratto, the grapes are pressed whole under nitrogen, completing the entire production cycle up to bottling in total shelter from oxygen, preserving the typical aromas and scents in the best possible way, which mature in steel for 4 months to continue in a final refinement in the bottle. A beautiful pale straw yellow color with light green reflections is what gives this wine to the eye, on the nose evident notes of fresh white fruit, green apple and unripe pear, to then close with aromatic vegetables and citrus nuances reminiscent of green mandarin. On the palate it is full, balanced, enveloping and fresh.
