It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Torretta Roero DOCG is a red wine made by the Piedmontese winery Marco Porello , a reality that approaches the characteristics of the denomination with an innovative eye. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of local Nebbiolo grapes, grown in the vineyards that give the wine its name. The cru rises 300 meters above sea level, near Canale. Here the vines enjoy optimal conditions, including the microclimate and sun exposure. When the grapes are fully ripe, the harvest is expected with manual selection of the healthiest bunches. Once in the cellar, the grapes are pressed and destemmed. At the end of a ten-day maceration, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The refinement involves the use of oak barrels of various sizes, where the wine rests for about a year and a half. Perfect immediately, Torretta Roero DOCG can amaze even after 4 or 5 years of rest in the cellar.
