Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is an ancient white wine that is produced in many areas of the region. It is therefore a DOC white wine, with 100% Trebbiano grapes. The taste is dry, very harmonious, typical of a structured wine. The Emidio Pepe winery, with its vineyards located between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso mountain massif, creates an excellent product resulting from the encounter between the savory influence of the marine environment and the cold mountain air. In the Pepe cellar the grapes are harvested by hand, as well as the pressing still takes place with the feet: the production method has therefore remained artisanal and the quality of the wine is pleasantly affected. Emidio Pepe's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is vinified "in white", i.e. without the skins and only glass is used for the refinement, practically the wine does not pass from the barrels. This characteristic, of letting the product mature directly in the bottles, is a rather rare prerogative to which Emidio Pepe, after fifty years of experience, is particularly attached. The company, very attentive to the environment, works in a biodynamic regime.
