'Old Vines' Alsace AOC Riesling Gruss 2022

Riesling 2018 Alsace Gruss is a wine produced from extremely long-lived vineyards, owned by the cellar and with a yield ranging from 25 to 80 quintals per hectare. Riesling is a vine that finds the ideal environment in Alsace to express itself at its best and therefore gives wines of extraordinary longevity. The vines are rigorously cultivated organically and the grapes are harvested by hand and immediately transported to the cellar for fermentation in steel and subsequent maturation in contact with the fine lees. Straw yellow colored wine with greenish reflections. The nose is of great finesse, with delicate and decisive aromas of flowers, citrus fruits and in particular grapefruit and lemon. The drink is dry, elegant, with great fruity aromas and strong mineral hints. Of great longevity and long taste - olfactory persistence.
