'Old Vines' Alsace AOC Sylvaner Gruss 2022

The Vieilles Vignes Alsace AOC Sylvaner from the Gruss winery is a white wine produced with Sylvaner grapes. The vineyards are located in the village of Eguisheim, in Alsace, a north-western region of France, blessed by a fairly hot and dry climate despite its northern position. The grapes of the Gruss winery have been grown organically and hand-picked for three generations, the vinification takes place in fine French oak barrels. The whole Alsace wine region and its wines are called Appellation d'Origine Côntrolée, a French classification that corresponds to our DOC. The Vieilles Vignes Alsace AOC Sylvaner is a dry white, with a very expressive character and capable of giving its best during light dinners, aperitifs or brunches. It has a good aging capacity for a white wine, an excellent bottle to always have on hand for any occasion.
