'Vision' Irpinia Rosato DOC Feudi di San Gregorio 2022

Visione Irpinia Rosato DOC is a wine produced by the Feudi di San Gregorio winery in Campania. It is obtained from the vinification of only Aglianico grapes, a native vine particularly representative of the denomination. The plots are located 600 meters above sea level, where the vines grow on fertile volcanic soil. When they reach the perfect degree of ripeness, the bunches are harvested by hand for transport to the cellar. The vinification involves the delicate pressing of the grapes and a quick maceration on the skins to extract the soft rosé colour. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a monitored temperature, which takes place in stainless steel tanks. In the same tanks the wine remains for four months to refine until bottling. Visione Irpinia Rosato DOC is a ready-to-drink wine, to be enjoyed when young to appreciate the varietal notes.
