Vinopuro's advices

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

A Gentlement wine, rich and powerful, this Couchiroy", produced with the classic Bordeaux blend Cabernet Sauvignon 45% / Merlot 55%. This red wine from Pessac-Léognan, a truly prestigious area, is intense and fruity. It has the elegance and the finesse that characterize the wines of this region of Graves de Bordeaux. It has a beautiful dark ruby red. The nose is greedy and complex, with tasty notes of black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants). On the palate, it is a wine with a structure balanced. The whole is full, complex and gives a velvety sensation. This Coucheroy 2016 is very harmonious, with aromas of red fruits, some notes of vanilla, with a touch of mint. This wine with undeniable charm will perfectly accompany a lunch or dinner important.
