Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Barolo Ginestra DOCG from the Diego Conterno winery is produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Cru Ginestra. It is a small vineyard located in the southern part of Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, on a small hill about 350 meters above sea level. Here the soil is rich in marl, an element which delays the ripening of the grapes and increases their thin acidity. The climate is cool and temperate: the Alps protect the rows from excessive cold without however hindering the passage of hot-humid currents. In the cellar, the winemaking process takes place respecting the traditional craftsmanship that has always distinguished the wines of the well-known Piedmontese company. During the harvest, the bunches are carefully selected and picked by hand. In the cellar, the must macerates for 30 days in steel and slowly ages for a period of no less than 30 months in large wooden barrels. This step makes Barolo Ginestra DOCG Conterno a red characterized by a complex structure, ready to drink, but above all ideal for ageing.
