Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Barolo DOCG Liste is a prestigious red wine produced by the Borgogno winery, a historic company in the Langhe area. The approach to viticulture of this productive reality combines respect for an important heritage with an innovative gaze. The enhancement of the individual Crus is one of the main objectives, perfectly achieved with this wine, which is made with Nebbiolo grapes coming exclusively from the Liste vineyard. Here human activity is reduced to the essentials, reflecting the company's minimalist concept. Once the accurate harvesting phase has been completed, the bunches are transported to the cellar, where maceration and then fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature begin. The aging process is what gives Barolo DOCG Liste its unmistakable characteristics: thanks to three years of aging in small oak barrels, the wine is enriched with complex and intriguing scents. For this reason it is advisable to enjoy a glass after five years of aging in the cellar.
