It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barolo Le Coste di Monforte d'Alba DOCG is a full-bodied red wine produced by the Piedmontese winery Diego Conterno . It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, which are grown on the owned vineyards near Monforte d'Alba. The Le Coste cru rises 400 meters above sea level and is one of the finest in the area. The vineyard boasts optimal sun exposure to the south, which allows the bunches to develop in the best conditions until they are fully ripe. The manual harvest involves a selection of the best grapes, which are transported to the cellar for pressing. An alcoholic fermentation follows with maceration on the skins which lasts almost a month. For the refinement, the company focuses on respect for tradition, choosing large oak barrels where the wine rests for about 30 months. Barolo Le Coste di Monforte d'Alba DOCG is already excellent after bottling, even if it can reserve pleasant surprises after 7-8 years of further evolution.
