Bin 798 RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz is a label from the Penfolds winery, one of the most interesting realities in the Barossa Valley, a dedicated wine-growing area in southeastern Australia. The acronym RWT indicates the Red Winemaking Trial, an expression that refers to the experimental nature with which the adventure began, which has made it possible to perfect a rigorous process. It follows that today this soft and full-bodied red wine can be considered one of the excellences of the appellation. After a careful manual harvest, delayed as much as possible to allow the grapes to enjoy the last warm rays of autumn, the Shiraz grapes are transported to the cellar. Here they are vinified alone and aged for about sixteen months in French oak barrels, for the most part on the first passage. Even if it is excellent right away, Bin 798 RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz is thought of as a treasure to be kept in the cellar, where it can age, refine and improve for many years.
