Vinopuro's advices

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Biserno Rosso Toscana IGT is a wine that is born in the Tenuta di Biserno cellar in Bibbona. The company stands out for having invested in unexplored territory and for the excellent quality of the bottles. The grapes come from the Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon vines and a small percentage (5%) of Petit Verdot, grown on mainly clayey soils and favored by the mild climate of the Tuscan Maremma. After the careful manual harvest with the selection of the best berries, the soft crushing and destemming takes place. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel and only a small part undergoes malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Aging takes place for 12 months in new and 90% used barriques, while the remainder takes place in steel. Biserno Rosso Toscana IGT is a balanced and intense wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar, if correctly stored, even for a few years.
