Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is produced in the Corte dei Venti cellar in Piancornello. The company is very old and currently the owner's sons take care of it trying to carry on the prestigious family tradition. The grapes come from Sangiovese vines grown on hilly soils exposed to the South, calcareous and clayey. Thanks to the breeze and the absence of fog, the plants always reach their maximum expression and the best bunches are carefully selected to be harvested. The subsequent fermentation takes place on indigenous yeasts and with maceration on the skins lasting 3 weeks, the maturation process takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for a period of 36 months. The final refinement takes place in the bottle and is then put on the market. Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a structured and intense wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but it can rest and evolve in the cellar for over 10 years.
