'Chardonnay Vigna Maso Reiner' Alto Adige DOC Kettmeir 2020

Chardonnay Vigna Maso Reiner Alto Adige DOC is an elegant and fragrant white wine, produced by Kettmeir , a company of excellence in the area. The vineyards chosen to cultivate the Chardonnay grapes, destined to be vinified alone, are located at about 400 meters above sea level, at the Maso Reiner which gives its name to the label. The soils of calcareous origin, with a good percentage of clay, give unique scents to the grapes, which are harvested in mid-September. Once in the cellar, they are subjected to soft pressing and subsequent fermentation in French oak barriques, where the wine is left to mature for just under a year on its lees. After bottling, which takes place in the September following the harvest, the wine rests for another five months before being marketed. Perfect immediately, Chardonnay Vigna Maso Reiner Alto Adige DOC expresses softness, elegance and a good structure and can age elegantly for up to 5 or 6 years.
