Rosso Gaio Gaio from the Calabretta winery is a Sicilian IGT wine made with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes. Fruit of vines grown on the slopes of Etna according to the dictates of organic farming. The Calabretta company adheres to the TRIPLE A association which, founded in 2003, brings together the first historical producers of natural wines. By virtue of this, it follows the production philosophy of wines made with artisanal methods and with the sole use of indigenous yeasts. The result is a genuine product which does not undergo any chemical or physical intervention and which has not been clarified or filtered before bottling. The Rosso Gaio Gaio wine has no added sulphites and is the result of a manual selection of the grapes, a vinification in steel and oak and an 11-month aging period in large Slavonian oak barrels. The result is a balanced red wine, which stands out for its fresh and dynamic character. Having read the date of production and starting from it, it is possible to let the Gaio Gaio rest in the cellar for a period of time of 3-4 years. This wine is perfect to be served during a dinner with friends.
