It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Heimburg Pinot Gris is a white wine produced by the Zind Humbrecht domain, an Alsatian company that is characterized by the production of excellent whites, characterized by an elegant minerality that derives from the land on which the vineyards are located. A perfect example is this splendid white wine, in which the grapes of the Pinot Gris variety, vinified alone, express themselves to the best of their potential. Thanks to the particular characteristics of the soil, the grapes reach a perfect balance, which the cellar decides to preserve with a winemaking process that respects the raw material as much as possible. After a brief fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged in non-toasted oak barrels, in order to keep intact all the varietal scents that characterize this delicate and semi-aromatic vine. Heimburg Pinot Gris is a true oenological rarity, which can amaze even the most expert enthusiasts thanks to its unprecedented nuances to be enhanced in an elegant dinner. By virtue of the remarkable acidity, it is able to rest in the cellar for up to several years, as per the Alsatian tradition.
