Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Lena Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore is a wine from the Bera Valter winery, created to pay homage to the mother and sister of the wine entrepreneur. As befits a family history, the grapes necessary for the production of this extraordinary red are grown in a small exclusive vineyard. Here the bunches of Barbera can count on the strength of vines planted way back in 1972. The plants only get the best out of the southern exposure, the clayey and calcareous soil and the Guyot cultivation method. Once they have reached perfect ripeness, the grapes are transported to the cellar, where alcoholic fermentation begins, which takes place at a controlled temperature inside steel tanks. The subsequent refinement lasts for about fifteen months in wooden barrels and for a further six months in the bottle. Lena Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore is a red that maintains the varietal characteristics of Barbera, while showing a remarkable softness and aging potential.
