Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description

The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Mata is produced by Villa Matilde with great respect for tradition, for the environment and an unceasing commitment to study and research. This winery produces excellent quality wines in Campania, in the areas of Casertano, Sannio Beneventano and Irpinia. The white Mata Brut contains 100% Falanghina grapes grown on the San Castrese estate in Sessa Aurunca (Ce), on the slopes of the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina. The ancient vineyards are located at a height of 150 meters above sea level, benefiting from the high mineral concentrations typical of volcanic soils and from the large temperature ranges that characterize the climate of these areas. This wine is produced with the classic method (Champenoise) and owes its success to the excellent raw material used and to the oenological care of those who work in the cellar. The result is a pleasant wine, with lively bubbles, to be drunk on any occasion, from an aperitif to a meal of raw fish and seafood carpaccio.
