'Molin a Vent' Beaujolais Villages AOC Cuvee Prestige GEORGES DUBOUEF 2015

Georges Duboeuf Moulin a Vent Cuvee Prestige is one of the greatest expressions of Beaujolais, an area with a high French wine vocation, located between Saint-Amour and Lyon. The Georges Duboeuf winery was born in 1964 with deep roots, anchored to the territory. Georges and his son Frank work today with 300 selected winemakers, respecting the vineyard and the land. All stages of wine production are closely followed up to bottling. The vinification takes place in the family cellar, managed with maniacal care. This Georges Duboeuf Moulin a Vent Cuvee Prestige is made only with Gamay grapes which give complexity and character to the wine. The mill from which it takes its name was built on these lands in the 15th century. Here, the soil is mineral and rich in manganese which gives the grapes a particular intensity. A versatile red that can be drunk young yet has good aging potential.
