'Montevertine' Toscana IGT Montevertine 2020

Montevertine Toscana IGT is a wine produced in the homonymous cellar in Radda in Chianti. Immersed in the green heart of Tuscany, the company produces only products of great expressive value. The grapes come from the assembly of Sangiovese vines for 90% and for the remainder from Colorino and Canaiolo, cultivated on soils rich in limestone and clay exposed to the South and South/East. The mild climate is a favorable element for the optimal maturation of the plants. After the manual harvest, the best bunches are pressed and transformed into must. Subsequently the fermentation takes place in cement tanks for 21 days, while the refinement takes place for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Before being put on the market, the wine needs a further rest period of 3 months in the bottle. Montevertine Toscana IGT is an elegant and full-bodied wine, ideal to be tasted immediately, but it can also rest in the cellar for over 12 years.
