'Pallagrello Bianco Verginiano' Terre del Volturno IGP Il Verro 2020

Pallagrello Bianco Verginiano Terre del Volturno PGI is a mineral white wine produced by the Terre del Volturno winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only Pallagrello Bianco grapes, a native variety whose berries are recognizable by their characteristic spherical shape. The company intends to preserve the peculiarities of this volcanic terroir, allowing the vine to express itself in an authentic way. For this reason, the owned plots are cultivated organically. Once the ideal level of ripeness has been reached, the bunches are selected and harvested manually. In the cellar the processes begin with destemming and then continue with the delicate pressing of the berries. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. In the same containers the wine ages for a few months before bottling. Excellent immediately, Pallagrello Bianco Verginiano Terre del Volturno PGI is an elegant and intense white, ready immediately, but also capable of further evolution up to 2-3 years in the cellar.
