'Pievecroce' Lugana DOC Costaripa 2021

Pievecroce Lugana DOC is a wine produced at the Costaripa winery in Moniga del Garda. The company stands out thanks to the particular care of the territory and produces labels capable of enhancing it to the fullest. The grapes come from the Trebbiano di Lugano vines, grown on soils of morainic and clayey origin exposed to the South/East and enjoying the climatic influence of Lake Garda. After the manual harvest, the grapes are taken to the cellar to be subjected to vinification which allows for soft pressing and slow decanting. The must obtained is divided between steel tanks and second and third passage oak barrels where the alcoholic fermentation takes place. The refinement is always carried out in steel and oak barrels and lasts a few months. Pievecroce Lugana DOC is a soft and enveloping wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for about 3 years.
