Description

The Pinot Nero Sudtirolo DOC red wine from the Abbazia di Novacella winery fully expresses the characteristics of the territory of origin. The vineyards, in fact, are located in the hamlet of Cornaiano in the municipality of Appiano; the delicate slope of the Oltradige hills ensures favorable soil and excellent climatic conditions which allow for the production of good quality grapes. Thanks to the experience of the winery, you get a perfect wine to pair with any occasion. The production of the Pinot Nero Sudtirolo DOC red wine begins with the selection of the bunches during the harvest, to then move on to the vinification which is carried out in steel, with maceration on the skins for about 15 days. After fermentation, it then moves on to maturation in oak barrels for at least 6 months before aging in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied red wine with a good structure, easy to drink, harmonious and elegant.
