Porto Tawny NIEPOORT 10 Years Old

The Tawny Port 10 Years Old is a fortified wine produced by the Nieeport company, a true institution for all Port enthusiasts. The period indicated on the label does not indicate the final refinement, but the blending of different wines which boast an average age which in this case amounts to ten years. This splendid Port is made up of several wines, all very representative of the Portuguese ampelographic heritage. These are: touriga nacional, touriga franca, tinted amarela, tinted rotiz, tinted francisca, tinto cão and sousão. Once the different wines have been skilfully assembled, everything is left to mature in small wooden barrels. A set of wines made from red berried grapes which, when combined, manage to blend into a mix within which some unmistakable varietal scents can still be found. Intense and rich in balsamic notes, the 10 Years Old Tawny Port is perfect for closing a dinner with elegant sweetness.
