Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Valpolicella DOC is a red wine made by the Brigaldara winery, which is one of the most esteemed producers of the denomination. The label is the result of a blend that includes the local Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella varieties. The plots are located near Marcellise, about 200 meters above sea level. The vines are cultivated with the Guyot system and with the more traditional Veronese pergola system. Towards the second half of September, the manual harvest allows the healthiest bunches to be carefully selected, which are collected and transported to the cellar. Here the fermentation always takes place in contact with the skins to favor the extraction of the color, while the temperature is rigorously controlled. After two weeks the wine is ready for the aging in steel which lasts about 6 months. Valpolicella DOC is a red wine capable of pleasantly surprising as soon as it is bottled, but also following a further evolution of a couple of years in the cellar.
