Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

Nebbiolo is the King of the Langhe, the grape with worldwide fame for long-lived, rich and unique wines. Nebbiolo is precisely the grape variety that allows you to "read and translate" all the diversity of the Langhe terroir. This wine was aged in large tonneaus supplied by 4 different coopers and each tonneau has given its own aromatic profile to the resulting Barolo . The name the "Quills" symbolizes the defense of the hedgehog - the corporate symbol, its "armor" that makes it unbeatable and saves it from predators. The hand-painted map represents the Castagni vineyard, which was purchased by La Biòca in 2013 and replanted for the most part, with the exception of the 1966 plot (the darkest on the map), which was part of all the subsequent vintages of the «Aculei».Transparent garnet red, elegant and floral on the nose, in the mouth it expresses its potential with a present but refined tannin, intense wine but capable of being appreciated with a pleasant and intriguing drink.Very persistent on the finish.
