'Saffredi' Toscana Rosso IGT Fattoria Le Pupille 2020 MAGNUM in Wooden Box

The Maremma Toscana Rosso IGT Saffredi from the famous Fattoria Le Pupille is one of the wines that best represents the Tuscan cellar. Fruit of the grapes of vineyards located near Magliano, this Supertuscan is the product of a blend composed of Caberenet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (30%) and Petit Verdot (10%). The result is a great wine that has received numerous awards, including that of the prestigious international magazine Wine Spectator, which defined it as an excellent wine. Maremma Toscana Rosso IGT Saffredi is the result of a harvest carried out in three stages: in mid-September the Merlot grape is harvested; at the end of September and the beginning of October the Cabernet Sauvignon grape; in mid-October the Petit Verdot grape, after which follows a vinification in steel and a subsequent refinement of 18 months in barrique. The result is a robust, perfectly balanced red, an aromatic wine that is characterized by its very long persistence and good evolution, Saffredi can rest in the cellar quietly for more than 10 years.
