Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Sauvignon Lahn white wine from the San Michele Appiano winery is obtained using only Sauvignon grapes. The vines are grown on the hills around the municipality of San Michele, in the heart of South Tyrol. Here, the calcareous and clayey soils, rich in mineral salts, together with the favorable climate allow the plants to develop optimally. This winery is today a point of reference in the South Tyrolean area thanks to the production of quality wines, combining craftsmanship and technological innovation. The harvest, carried out between the end of September and the beginning of October, is done by hand to prevent the bunches from being damaged. After a soft pressing, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the subsequent refinement directly in the bottle. In this way an elegant and refined white wine is obtained, intense both in flavor and in aromas, with a light fruity and spicy aftertaste. Ideal to serve during an evening with friends. Top class wine.
