The Gordon & Macphail Private Collection Linkwood Côte Rôtie Wood Finish is a specimen of whiskey from the private collection of Gordon & Macphail. Within this collection there are whiskeys finished with distinct types of wood, in order to give the product characteristics capable of making it unique. This whiskey is initially distilled by Linkwood, to be subsequently refined and bottled by Gordon & Macphail. The moment of bottling comes after the whiskey has spent a period of more than fifteen years in French wooden barrels. The latter, as indicated on the label, had previously been used to refine Côte Rôtie wines. The Gordon & Macphail Private Collection Linkwood Côte Rôtie Wood Finish is an extraordinarily complex distillate, capable of enveloping the palate with its velvety texture.
