Noble wine of Montepulciano DOCG Poliziano 2018

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG is considered an authentic trademark of the Poliziano farm, by virtue of characteristics such as the refinement, elegance and longevity of the product. The winery is located on the hills of Montepulciano, in the province of Siena: this area is particularly suitable for the cultivation of vines thanks to the peculiar composition of the soil, which is a mixture of clay, tuff and stone. The vineyards, among other things, grow between 300 and 400 meters above sea level, therefore with beneficial night-time temperature ranges. Considered a true marriage of tradition and innovation, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG is made from 85% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) grapes with the addition of Colorino, Canaiolo and Merlot. The harvest aimed at the production of this red takes place manually, so that only the best bunches are selected. Stainless steel tanks are used for fermentation, while oak barriques are preferred for ageing. The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG by Poliziano is structured, enveloping, with a persistent finish. Great longevity is expected for this sumptuous wine.
