Description
Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia IGT is a white wine with intense aromas, produced by the Gorizia winery Jermann . This label is the result of a blend that includes typical local vines, including Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and a small quantity of Picolit. All the varieties are grown in a vineyard located in Ronco del Fortino near Gorizia, to whose former owner the label is dedicated. Here the conditions are optimal to guarantee the vines a luxuriant growth until the harvest, which takes place after a slight overripeness. In this phase a manual sorting is carried out and only the best bunches reach the cellar. The vinification involves the pressing of the grapes and the subsequent alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The aging is long and takes place partially in oak barrels. Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia IGT is an excellent white immediately as well as after a couple of years of careful aging.
