'San Lorenzo' Chianti Classico Grand Selection DOCG Castello di Ama 2019

Chianti Classico San Lorenzo takes its name from the splendid valley overlooked by the eighteenth-century villas Pianigiani and Ricucci and is obtained from grapes coming exclusively from the vineyards of Castello di Ama, specifically represented by old systems and vineyards planted for over ten years, which demonstrate to the harvest that they have reached a perfect level of maturity. The Gran Selezione is an important step for the denomination of Chianti Classico and becomes the top of the qualitative pyramid. The wines that bear this name are a guarantee for the consumer, both in terms of origin and quality. In fact, the production regulations require them that the grapes are wholly produced on the farm and that the wine is placed on the market 30 months after the harvest.
