'Sophie' Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC Manincor 2022

Sophie Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC is a delicate and persistent white produced by Manincor , a winery that stands out for its ability to innovate processing techniques to obtain excellent wines in terms of quality. In addition to the grapes of the Chardonnay vine, present for 94%, this wine has small percentages of Viognier (4%) and Sauvignon Blanc (2%), which enrich its sensory profile. The grapes come from two sub-areas, Terlano and Caldaro, respectively characterized by sandy and clayey soil. The vinification involves an initial soft pressing of the grapes, a rapid maceration on the skins which does not last more than four hours and a fermentation on indigenous yeasts in large barrels. The final stage, that of refinement, consists of rest in wooden vats for about nine months. Sophie Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC is a wine with a strong artisan imprint, which can be enjoyed as soon as it is bottled, but can also be kept in the cellar for up to four years.
