It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barolo DOCG Arborina is an intense and full-bodied red wine, made by the historic Langhe winery Elio Altare . It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, a local dark berried variety very representative of the territory. The plots that give the wine its name are located near La Morra. In this particularly suitable area the vines enjoy ideal conditions, which are carefully preserved by virtue of the careful work between the rows. Once they have reached the perfect degree of ripeness, the best grapes are harvested by hand. Thanks to the use of rotary fermenters, maceration in contact with the skins lasts only 3 or 4 days. The refinement involves the use of fine Allier oak barrels, where the wine rests for two years before bottling. Barolo DOCG Arborina is a red that boasts enormous potential for further evolution: if carefully stored it can surprise even after 15 years.
