Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Barolo Riserva DOCG Sarmassa Vigna Bricco is a label from the fine range of Giacomo Brezza , a very renowned winery in the Langhe area. With this elegant and fragrant wine, the company aims to enhance the peculiarities of a cru, that of Sarmassa. The Nebbiolo grapes are grown organically and with the Guyot system, to draw the maximum benefit from the silt substrate and the southern exposure of the area where the vines are located. In the cellar, fermentation on indigenous yeasts takes place spontaneously, without filtration. The subsequent refinement takes place first in large wooden barrels, where the wine rests for two years, and then in the bottle. Here Barolo Riserva DOCG Sarmassa Vigna Bricco remains for four years, sealing its complex scents before being put on the market. To fully appreciate this robust and structured red it is advisable to let it evolve for some time in the cellar and oxygenate it in a decanter at the time of opening.
