'Bell'Assai' Frappato Vittoria DOC Donnafugata 2021

The Bell'Assai Frappato Vittoria DOC from the Donnafugata winery is a red wine born in the area of Acate, a small town located in south-eastern Sicily. The vineyards are located on slightly sloping land, mainly sandy at an altitude of 120-150 meters; the harvest of the grapes, generally in the second ten days of September, takes place in a very scrupulous way. The best grapes undergo an alcoholic fermentation in steel, macerating on the skins for about eight or nine days at a controlled temperature; follows the refinement for four months in the tank and, subsequently, in the bottle for at least three months before being put on the market. The Bell'Assai Frappato Vittoria DOC is nothing short of an extraordinary wine, able to surprise anyone with its instant pleasantness; in any case, if left to rest adequately in the cellar for 2 or 3 years, it can further evolve and refine in the best possible way.
