Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Bolgheri Rosso DOC Tenuta Le Colonne is an intense and elegant wine made by the Tuscan company Dievole . The blend used to produce this label is in line with the style of the appellation. The grapes are Cabernet Franc (70%), Merlot (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The latter, present for 10%, helps to give the unmistakable vegetal scents to the wine. The vineyards are located on mainly sandy soils, in an area that enjoys an optimal south-west exposure. Once the harvest phase has been concluded, the vinification begins in the cellar with alcoholic fermentation on indigenous yeasts. This stage requires the grapes to remain at a strictly controlled temperature for two weeks. The subsequent refinement first involves a one-year rest in French oak barrels and then another three months in the bottle. Bolgheri Rosso DOC Tenuta Le Colonne can be enjoyed immediately, or left to evolve in the cellar for up to a maximum of 5 years.
