Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
The Barolo DOCG Bricco delle Viole is a great wine proposed by the Piedmontese winery Vajra. This is an important production reality, which creates its labels following the dictates of Aldo Vaira, the patron who led the entire company, seeking quality and style in every proposal. A red that has received several awards from national and international wine critics, it is no coincidence that it has been judged "excellent" by the Slowine guide. This wine is the result of the vinification of 100% Nebbiolo grapes, the fruit of old vines grown on mainly clayey soil, which enjoy a good mild microclimate. The result of a careful late harvest carried out in autumn, the Barolo DOCG Bricco delle Viole takes shape from a careful processing of the grapes in the cellar, where a classic red vinification takes place, at the end of which it ages in wine in oak barrels of Slavonia for 42 months, then it is bottled. Subsequently it matures again in glass. The finished product is an extremely elegant terroir label. An aromatic red, balanced and fresh, for a wine of character, which emerges for its long persistence and its excellent longevity.
