Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore "Ceregio", from the Fattoria Zerbina winery, was born on the slopes of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines: here the cultivation of vines is favored not only by the mild climate, but also by the clayey-calcareous composition of the soil. The company is based on a deep passion for oenology, as well as on the desire to produce top quality wines firmly linked to its terroir. For the Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore "Ceregio" mainly native Sangiovese di Romagna grapes are used. Merlot and Ancellotta vines are also used to a small extent. The manufacturing process is extremely accurate and requires a long aging in steel and cement tanks: the result is an intense, elegant red, with well-defined tannins. The name of the Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore "Ceregio" recalls one of the fruits that most stand out in the overall taste of the product, namely the cherry. Intriguing!
