Champagne Grand Brut Perrier Jouet is the first brut champagne created by the well-known maison. A weighted dosage of the best Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, whose grapes are grown within the company's 65 hectares of vineyards, in areas with the best climatic conditions for each variety. The particularity of this champagne, produced since 1856, is linked to the intuition of the Chef de Caves Hervés Dechamps, who thought of reducing the sugar dosage of the cuvée to meet the tastes of English buyers. A choice that did not affect the quality of a champagne which, even today, is among the most tasted and appreciated in the world. The Perrier Jouet winery is one of the most important champagne producers. Its vineyards are almost all classified at the top of the Grand Cru classification. The fruits of these vines are blended with a small percentage of reserve wines from previous vintages. After the refermentation in the bottle (Champenoise method) and an aging of 3 years, an elegant and delicate champagne is obtained with a varied bouquet of fruity and floral aromas. Gorgeous!
