Chardonnay 'Merus' Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC Tiefenbrunner 2021

Among the most representative wines of the Tiefenbrunner winery, the MERUS Chardonnay Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC stands out, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, present in the hilly areas with calcareous soils of Cortaccia and in the alluvial plain of Magrè, between 210 and 400 meters above sea level sea. The Tiefenbrunner Winery is among the oldest in South Tyrol and the love for the land and for the vineyards give life to pure, naturally grown grapes and high quality products that best reflect the strong South Tyrolean character. After the harvest, the fermentation of the MERUS Chardonnay Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC takes place at a controlled temperature in steel and the refinement is carried out for 4 months in cement tanks. Once bottled, the wine can be drunk immediately, or kept in the cellar for 3-4 years, giving a rich, full sip and a persistent finish.
